🤩What a night 🤩 Over the past few months we've been working hard to create a new collaboration menu for our First Class customers with Michelin-starred Welsh chef James Sommerin. We've had everything from content creation days through to chef training in our Newport prep-kitchen, and the whole project has been a real team effort. Last night, we got to celebrate this collaboration with a launch event for this menu at James Sommerin's restaurant 'Home' in Penarth and I couldn't be happier with how it went. Huge thank you to everyone involved in this collab, it's been a dreamy project to work on and one that I'm incredibly proud of already. The menu launches on 7th April for 8 weeks. See you on board. 🗣️ This week, our Head of Business Development, Owain Taylor-Shaw presented in partnership with Transport for Wales at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd Business Breakfast Briefing. The focus of this edition was on how public sector organisations can use their assets to be more sustainable. Our business is a prime example of how this can be put into action effectively, delivering returns from both a commercial and social value perspective. During the session, Owain was able to showcase who we are, what we do and talk about how we’ve harnessed latent fibre capacity from an existing Transport for Wales asset. A big thanks to Cardiff University for inviting us to talk and to all those who attended, both in-person and online. We received plenty of questions. If you’d like to find out more about how we could work with you, email us at: enquiries@ffeibr.wales

  • Happy Friday Innovators 🙌 The weather gods were in our favour yesterday as we attended the Global Centre Of Rail Excellence facility near Onllwyn for the bright and sunny Innovation in Railway Construction Demo Day. A fantastic day to showcase rail innovation and new technologies to solve some of the biggest challenges in rail 💪. We saw solutions tackling security, telecommunications, trackwork, railway operations, power supply infrastructure, overhead line electrification (OLE), monitoring and maintenance, ecology and habitat creation, earthworks and structure. It was great to see some of our very own accelerator alumni displaying including RoboK, who were the winners of cohort 3, INGRAM NETWORKS LTD who we supported to win innovate UK funding to develop a high-speed trackside internet solution. Cohort 5 winners JURNYON were also in attendance, soaking up the innovative energy as well as the suns rays ☀️😎. It would be remiss of us not to mention at this point that Cohort 6 recruitment is now LIVE! 😁 Follow the link to find out more: https://tfw.wales/lab. ***DEADLINE 2ND APRIL 12.00 BST*** It really was a fantastically diverse day, seeing cutting edge technology applied to real world and relevant challenges 👏  Exciting times! #innovation #arloesedd #collaboration #accelerator Barry Lloyd, Michael Davies, Matthew Lewis, Victoria Richards

    Founder of Innovators Uncensored

Our first ever Bristol Innovators Uncensored Start-Up Social is tomorrow, and I’m super happy to announce that we’ve partnered up with the awesome team at RBC Brewin Dolphin to make it all happen 🥳 Tomorrow night, we’ll have 120 Founders and Start-Up enthusiasts heading to Riverstation for a night of Start-Up stories with plenty of exciting ideas being thrown around the room. We’ll also be hearing from Sam Simpson about the earliest days of building his Start-Up and taking it right the way through to exit, along with how that’s helped in building FounderCatalyst. Plus, we’ll be putting on food and drinks! Despite the limited capacity, we’ve had over 150 people register for a ticket for this event, it’s awesome to see how alive the Start-Up ecosystem in Bristol is! At the time of writing this, we have had 2 tickets become available so head over to the Innovators Uncensored Eventbrite to grab them, or just drop me a message and I’ll send you the details 🎟️ I want to say a big thank you to Belinda Houghton-Jones and the team for partnering up with us, and offering to support the Innovators Uncensored community with their financial planning needs. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at 6pm in The Riverstation 🚀 P.S. I promise Daniel Jacob is a different person and that isn’t just a reflection of me below 👇
