"We’re changing the way the transport industry looks. By celebrating and embracing differences, we’re building a workforce that represents Wales. We need talented people from all backgrounds and cultures to bring their perspectives and experiences. Diverse teams make better decisions and drive innovation. Join us in transforming the way Wales travels."

We want to represent and support the diverse communities of Wales. That’s why we embed our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in everything we do - from the services we deliver to the culture we foster.
We know that meaningful change requires long-term commitment, openness and accountability. That’s why we’ve developed a clear EDI vision and action plan, supported by policies that ensure fairness and opportunity for all.
Our vision
We’re building a fairer, more inclusive Wales - where everyone feels safe, seen, heard and valued. It’s underpinned by three key aims:
- Inclusive culture - Promoting an environment where all colleagues and customers feel respected and able to be themselves.
- Working equitably - Embedding inclusion and accessibility into how we plan, recruit, deliver and evaluate our work.
- Representative workforce - Ensuring our workforce reflects the diverse communities we serve.
These goals are at the heart of our Strategic Equality Plan 2024-28.
These are some of the steps we’re taking to put our vision into practice:
Anti-racism
As a proud supporter of the Welsh Government Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan, we’ve published our own Anti-Racism Action Plan. This includes:
- Listening to lived experiences to shape our approach.
- Training and awareness campaigns for all employees.
- Targeted outreach and recruitment to improve ethnic representation across our workforce.
Colleague support networks
Our colleague-led networks create spaces for them to connect, share experiences and shape our workplace culture. They include:
- Enfys - LGBTQ+ network
- All Aboard - Disability network and neurodivergence space
- Gender network - Men’s space and women’s space
- Family and carers network
- Criw Cymraeg - Welsh culture network
- Faith network
- Race network
Progress and transparency
We measure our success not just by what we say, but by what we do. Each year we:
- Publish our annual EDI report and Gender Pay Gap analysis.
- Engage with communities and stakeholders through consultations and events.
- Review our recruitment and progression data to identify and remove barriers.
Our 2025/26 Business Plan reinforces our commitment to building an inclusive, future-ready organisation.
As well as our commitments to our colleagues, we are also committed to creating more inclusive travel for our customers. We want everyone to feel confident using our services.
Our Accessible Travel page outlines how we support customers with additional needs - including schemes like the Sunflower Lanyard, Orange Wallet and BSL interpretation tools.
