Due to a broken down train between Abergavenny (AGV) and Hereford (HFD):
Services will be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Newport (South Wales) (NWP) and Hereford (HFD).
We expect the incident to last until 19:30 and disruption to services is expected until 20:30.
A train has broken down between Abergavenny and Hereford meaning services in the area are subject to disruption and will be cancelled or delayed.
Our maintenance team are currently in contact with train crew working to rectify the problem.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from our maintenance team.

- Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway.
- CrossCountry between Cardiff Central/Bristol Parkway to Birmingham New Street.
- West Midlands Railway between Hereford and Birmingham New Street.
These arrangements are in place on services until further notice.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
We have limited road transport running between Newport and Hereford provided by Lakeside, CMD, Star Coaches and Newport Transport, to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost.

- Route X5 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Cardiff and Cwmbran.
