Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM):
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 07:00 until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa.

Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:
Between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa with CrossCountry
Between Cardiff Central and Severn Tunnel Junction with GWR
Between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa with GWR
These arrangements are in place on services in both directions until the end of the day.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
Alternative Road Transport
We have organised buses to run between Newport and Gloucester to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost.
Rail replacement from Newport calling all stops to Gloucester will be provided by Teulu and Cymru Coaches, these buses will depart hourly at XX:40.
Rail replacement from Gloucester calling all stops to Newport will be departing at the correct train departure time from Gloucester. These will be provided by Teulu and Cymru Coaches
These arrangements are in place on services until end of day.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
