Engineering work is taking place between Crewe and Chester, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Monday to Thursday:
- The 21:24 Cardiff Central to Chester will terminate at Shrewsbury. An additional train will run from Shrewsbury to Crewe, and a replacement bus will run from Crewe to Chester
- The 23:30 Crewe to Chester will be replaced by a bus throughout
Tuesday to Friday:
- The 04:22 Chester to Birmingham International will be amended to start from Crewe. A replacement bus will run from Chester at 03:36 to Crewe, earlier than the train service it replaces
- The 04:48 Chester to Crewe will be replaced by a bus throughout

Amended morning service via Wolverhampton on Sunday 9 March
Engineering work is taking place between Smethwick Galton Bridge and Birmingham New Street until 10:00, closing some lines.
Avanti West Coast
The following services will be diverted via Bescot Stadium, extending journey times between London Euston and Wolverhampton:
- The 08:01, 08:33, and 09:07 Wolverhampton to London Euston services
- The 09:07 Birmingham New Street to Glasgow Central service
Transport for Wales
The 08:09 Shrewsbury to Birmingham International service will terminate at Wolverhampton.
The 10:06 Birmingham International to Aberystwyth service will start from Wolverhampton at 10:41.
If you are travelling to / from Birmingham New Street / Birmingham International, you should travel on alternative services provided by other operators to complete your journey.
West Midlands Railway
The 08:13 Wolverhampton to Rugeley Trent Valley and 08:18 Wolverhampton to Walsall services will not call at stations between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street and will terminate at Tame Bridge Parkway.
The 08:25 Birmingham New Street to Shrewsbury service is retimed to depart from Birmingham New Street at 08:20 and will not call at Smethwick Galton Bridge.
The 08:28 Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton service will not run.
The 08:40 Shrewsbury to Birmingham New Street service is retimed to depart from Wolverhampton at 09:32 and will not call at Smethwick Galton Bridge.
The 09:11 Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton service is retimed to depart from Birmingham New Street at 09:04 and will not call at stations between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton.
The 09:18 Wolverhampton to Walsall service will not run.
The 09:32 Birmingham New Street to Liverpool Lime Street service is retimed to depart from Birmingham New Street at 09:28 and will not call at Smethwick Galton Bridge.
Rail replacement buses will operate between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street calling at intermediate stations (including Smethwick Galton Bridge) to complement these service alterations.

Engineering work is taking place overnight in the Newport area, closing some lines.
Monday to Thursday:
The 19:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central service will have extended journey times between Abergavenny and Cardiff Central.
The 20:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central and 22:20 Crewe to Cardiff Central services will have extended journey times between Cwmbran and Cardiff Central.
The 21:11 Maesteg to Ebbw Vale Town service will run direct between Cardiff Central and Pye Corner and will no longer call at Newport.
The 22:10 Cardiff Central to Crewe service will run later than usual between Newport and Crewe.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 00:30 Cardiff Central to Hereford service will run later than usual between Newport and Hereford.
The 04:33 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly service will depart Cardiff Central earlier at 04:19, and Nepwort at 04:37, and will run as normal from Cwmbran onwards.

Engineering work is taking place in the Cardiff Central area, closing some lines.
The 20:35 Milford Haven to Cardiff Central service will divert between Bridgend and Cardiff Central via Barry, resulting in extended journey times.
The 22:30 Cardiff Central to Swansea service will depart later than usual at 22:34, and diverting between Cardiff Central and Pontyclun via Ninian Park resulting in extended journey times.
The 22:51 Aberdare to Cardiff Central service will divert between Radyr and Cardiff Central via Cardiff Queen Street and will not call at Danescourt, Fairwater, or Waun-gron Park. A replacement bus service will run from Radyr to Cardiff Central, calling at all stations via Danescourt.
The 23:18 Cardiff Central to Swansea service will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Barry. A replacement bus service will run from Cardiff Central to Bridgend via Pontyclun, calling at all stations.
The 23:24 Cardiff Central to Maesteg service will not run. A replacement bus service will run from Cardiff Central to Maesteg, calling at all stations.

The 23:20 Manchester Airport to Rhyl service will start from Chester at 00:40. A replacement bus service will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Rhyl.
Tuesday to Friday
The 00:26 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will not run. A replacement bus service will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Chester.
The 03:51 Chester to Manchester Airport will not run. A replacement bus service will run from Chester to Manchester Piccadilly.
The 05:25 Manchester Airport to Llandudno service will start from Warrington Bank Quay. A replacement bus service will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Warrington Bank Quay.

An additional service will depart Chester at 20:44 to Holyhead, calling at Shotton, Flint, Prestatyn, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno Junction, Bangor and Holyhead.
The 21:21 Crewe to Holyhead service will run earlier than usual from Flint to Rhyl, terminating at Rhyl. A replacement bus service will run from Rhyl to Holyhead.
The 21:49 Llandudno to Crewe service will depart earlier than usual at Llandudno Junction, Colwyn Bay, and Abergele & Pensarn.
Tuesday to Friday
The 00:40 Chester to Holyhead service (originally the 23:20 Manchester Airport to Holyhead service) will terminate at Rhyl. A replacement bus service will run from Rhyl to Holyhead.
The 04:37 Llandudno Junction to Crewe service will start from Rhyl at 04:55. A replacement bus service will run from Llandudno Junction to Rhyl calling at all stations.

The line closure will allow a considerable amount of essential renewal and maintenance work to take place. The 19:42 Llandudno to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Warrington Bank Quay. A replacement bus will run from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Piccadilly. You should travel on alternative services between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly.
The 21:09 Birmingham International to Manchester Piccadilly service will terminate at Chester for a replacement bus onward to Manchester Piccadilly.
The 21:52 Chester to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Warrington Bank Quay. A replacement bus will run from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Piccadilly. You should travel on alternative services between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly.
The 22:01 Chester to Liverpool Lime Street service will be replaced by a bus between Chester and Liverpool South Parkway. You should use alternative services between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street.

Engineering work is taking place between Port Talbot Parkway and Swansea, closing all lines.
The 21:46 Fishguard Harbour to Cardiff Central will terminate at Swansea. passengers from Fishguard Harbour / Fishguard & Goodwick should catch the 19:29 Fishguard Harbour to Carmarthen service and then onto the 19:07 Pembroke Dock to Cardiff Central service.
The 23:18 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen service will be diverted between Briton Ferry and Llanelli and not call at Neath, Skewen, Llansamlet, Swansea and Gowerton, and then run approximately twenty minutes earlier from Llanelli to Carmarthen.
The last service from Milford Haven to Cardiff Central train will be at 20:38.
An additional 23:24 Swansea to Cardiff Central 'Swanline' service will run, with passengers from Swansea to Llansamlet, Skewen, Neath, Briton Ferry and Baglan being advised that this will run earlier than the regular last service.
