Services will be delayed by up to 90 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Newport (South Wales) (NWP).
We expect the incident to last until 23:59 and disruption to services is expected until 01:30 on 22/03/2026.

We have limited road transport at Abergavenny and Hereford to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost until the end of the day.

- Route 435 provided by Mintserley between Shrewsbury and Ludlow via Craven Arms.
- Route X5 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Cardiff and Cwmbran.
