Update: Incident due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Machynlleth (MCN) until 15:00.

Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Machynlleth (MCN):

Services will be delayed by up to 20 minutes.

We expect the incident to last until 15:00 and disruption to services is expected from 11:00 until 15:30.

Train services between Shrewsbury and Welshpool are now returning to normal. First booked services to run will be the

13:27 Aberystwyth to Birmingham International and the 13:27 Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth.


Road replacement will run alongside train services up until 15:00
