Services may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Barry (BRY) and Bridgend (BGN).

We expect the incident to last until 06:00 and disruption to services is expected until 13:00.

What's Happened?

Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Bridgend and Barry.

Customers can use Rail replacment buses between Barry and Bridgend to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:

We have organised buses to run between Newport and Gloucester to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost.

Rail replacement from Newport calling all stops to Gloucester will be provided by Teulu and Cymru Coaches, these buses will depart hourly at XX:40.

Rail replacement from Gloucester calling all stops to Newport will be departing at the correct train departure time from Gloucester. These will be provided by Ferris, JKT and Applegates Coaches.


These arrangements are in place on services until end of day.

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
