Due to checking reports of an obstruction on the line between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Heath High Level (HHL):

Services will be delayed by up to 15 minutes.

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Queen Street (CDQ) and Caerphilly (CPH).

We expect the incident to last until further notice and disruption to services is expected from 13:00 until 16:00.

We expect to have a reduced number of trains available on Friday 17th July whilst our depot teams continue to work to ensure our on board air conditioning is fully functional.

Customers are advised that due to a Road Traffic Collision in the Welshpool area replacement road transport is also subject to delay in both directions between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth.

This means Transport For Wales services will start and terminate at Wolverhampton instead of Birmingham New Street or Birmingham International today.

Rail services between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury are expected to be busy meaning conditions on board could be very warm. Customers who are feeling unwell should consider whether they need to travel. If you do travel, you should bring water, stay hydrated and speak to a member of the onboard team immediately if you begin to feel unwell.
