Due to a lorry colliding with a bridge between Bidston (BID) and Wrexham Central (WXC):
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Bidston (BID) and Wrexham Central (WXC).
We expect the incident to last until 14:30 and disruption to services is expected until 17:00.
What's Happened?
A road vehicle hit a railway bridge at Shotton Station earlier today. The line has now been opened and services are now able to run. However, residual delays and cancellations may persist until 17:00.
Alternative Travel Options
We have organised buses to run between Bidston and Wrexham Central to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost. These services are currently in place and will be provided by Keane's Coaches.
