Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Aberystwyth (AYW) and Machynlleth (MCN):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Aberystwyth (AYW) and Machynlleth (MCN).
We expect the incident to last until 15:30 and disruption to services is expected from 13:30 until 16:00.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised a bus to run between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. The bus will arrive at Aberystwyth at approximately 15:27 provided by Lloyds.
These arrangements are in place on services leaving before 15:30.
Customers intending on travelling on our 14:49 Machynlleth to Aberystwyth service are advised to travel on our next available service.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

Pay as you go is only valid on Transport for Wales and CrossCountry services, even where we state you can use your original ticket at no extra cost with other train operators or local bus operators. If you travel with another operator or on a local bus service, you must first tap out at the same station within one hour of tapping in and buy an alternative ticket before boarding.
