Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Chester (CTR) and Liverpool Lime Street (LIV):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Chester (CTR) and Liverpool Lime Street (LIV).
We expect the incident to last until 16:45 and disruption to services is expected from 14:30 until 17:30.
Your ticket can be used with Merseyrail on their 15:45 service between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street. Your ticket can also be used in the other direction between Liverpool Lime Street and Chester on their 16:58 service to help you complete your journey at no extra cost.
When our services resume we expect the first train to run through to be the 16:43 from Chester and the 17:47 from Liverpool Lime Street.
