We expect the incident to last until 20:00 and disruption to services is expected until 20:00.
We have been made aware of more trains then usual needing repairs at the same time between Newport South Wales and Ebbw Vale Town.
Our services between Ebbw Vale Town and Newport are disrupted in both directions, with a reduced service in operation on the route, please be advised we expect this reduced service to remain in place until the end of the day:
Please also be advised this incident only affects services towards Ebbw Vale Town that have started at Newport and services to Newport that have started at Ebbw Vale Town with these services being cancelled.
Customer at Newport are advised to travel on Transport For Wales services to Cardiff Central where they can change for connecting Ebbw Vale Town services:
Customers at stations between Ebbw Vale Town and Pye Corner wishing to travel to Newport are advised to travel to Cardiff Central and change there for connecting Transport For Wales services towards Newport.

- Route 151 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Newbridge via Pye Corner, Rogerstone, Pontymister, Risca and Crosskeys
- Route X15 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Llanhilleth via Rogerstone, Crosskeys and Newbridge
