Due to a fault with the signalling system between Bridgend (BGN) and Rhoose Cardiff Int Airport (RIA):
Services will be delayed by up to 10 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Bridgend (BGN) and Barry (BRY).
We expect the incident to last until 08:00 and disruption to services is expected from 05:30 until 09:00.
We have been made aware of a signalling problem between Bridgend & Rhoose.
For safety, train services will be running more slowly than normal through the area, with residual delays of around 10 minutes to be expected.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and Technicians are currently on route to the affected signalling area.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.
