Due to a fault with the signalling system between Swansea (SWA) and Carmarthen (CMN):
Services may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Swansea (SWA) and Carmarthen (CMN).
We expect the incident to last until 10:00 and disruption to services is expected from 05:23 until 12:00.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a signalling problem between Swansea and Llanelli.
As a result, fewer trains will be able to run through the area until the signalling system is working normally.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and technicians are currently en route to the affected signalling.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

We have been made aware of more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time, affecting our services between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth on Friday 18th September 2026.
As a result, the following services have been cancelled:

Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth, and Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at:
