Due to a broken rail between Llanhilleth (LTH) and Ebbw Vale Parkway (EBV):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Ebbw Vale Town (EBB).
We expect the incident to last until 14:00 and disruption to services is expected from 10:05 until 15:30.
We have been made aware of a broken rail between Llanhilleth and Ebbw Vale Parkway.
For safety, train services will not be able to run through the area until it has been fixed.
Our colleagues at Network Rail Infrastructure are aware of the problem and technicians are currently enroute to the affected area of track.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Ebbw Vale Town and Cardiff Central to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Ebbw Vale Town at approximately 11:30 provided by Keepings International and at Cardiff Central at 11:20 provided by Ferris and 11:45 provided by Acorn.
These arrangements are in place on services until 16:00.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

- Route 56 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Crosskeys via Rogerstone and Ponytmister.
- Route X15 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Llanhilleth via Rogerstone, Crosskeys and Newbridge.
- Route 151 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Newbridge via Pye Corner, Rogerstone, Pontymister, Risca and Crosskeys.
- Route 1 provided by Newport Bus between Newport and Rogerstone via Pye Corner.
