Due to a fault on a train earlier between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 10:25 until the end of the day.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. The following services have been replaced with road transport.
- Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth at 20:32 and will be provided by Regional and Keanes. This service will depart on time at 20:32.
Please be advised that customers intending on travelling to Pwllheli can use this service as far as Machynlleth where you will be met by further replacement road transport. This will be provided by Lloyds and will depart at approximately 22:30.
- Aberystwyth to Machynlleth at 22:27 and will be provided by Lloyds. This service will depart on time at approximately 22:27.
These arrangements are in place on services until the end of the day.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
