Due to a points failure between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Birmingham International (BHI):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Birmingham International (BHI).
We expect the incident to last until 20:00 and disruption to services is expected until 23:00.
We have been made aware of a points failure between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International.
As a result, train services will not be able to run through the area until the points have been fixed.
Our colleagues at Network Rail Infrastructure are aware of the problem and expect this to last all day.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

We have organised a shuttle to run Shrewsbury, Wellington, Telford and Wolverhampton. This will run every hour from 06:30am until 21:30hrs.
There is also a return journey in place calling at Wolverhampton, Telford, Wellington and Shrewsbury. This will run every hour from 06:45hrs until 20:45hrs.

- CrossCountry between Birmingham International and Wolverhampton
