Due to a shortage of train crew between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW).
We expect the incident to last until 11:30 and disruption to services is expected from 09:14 until 11:30.
What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of train crew, the below services are altered:
The 08:08 Birmingham International to Aberystwyth will be terminating at Shrewsbury. We have organised a bus to meet the incoming service at Shrewsbury to assist customers to complete their journey at no extra cost. This will arrive at Shrewsbury at approximately 10:00 and will be provided by Regional. We have also arranged another bus to depart from Machynlleth at approximately 10:50, provided by Lloyds.
The 11:27 Aberystwyth to Birmingham International will be starting at Machynlleth. We have organised a bus to assist customers to complete their journey at no extra cost. This will arrive at Aberystwyth at approximately 11:27 and will be provided by Lloyds.
