Due to a tree blocking the railway at Brithdir (BHD):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Bargoed (BGD) and Rhymney (RHY).
We expect the incident to last until 07:30 and disruption to services is expected from 06:34 until 09:30.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a tree on the line at Brithdir. For safety, train services are unable to run through the area. Our colleagues at Network Rail/Amey Infrastructure are aware and staff are currently en route to the affected area. We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from Network Rail.

If you need to tap out at a gateline after travelling on a rail replacement bus, our station colleagues can assist. You can also add any missing taps using our app or website.
Pay as you go is only valid on Transport for Wales and CrossCountry services, even where we state you can use your original ticket at no extra cost with other train operators or local bus operators. If you travel with another operator or on a local bus service, you must first tap out at the same station within one hour of tapping in and buy an alternative ticket before boarding.
If you wish to abandon your journey, please tap out at the same station within one hour of tapping in.

We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
Due to a flooding, the line is blocked between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Network Rail has closed the railway meaning we can't run trains between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog in both directions.
Before the line reopens it will need to be inspected to make sure it is safe to run trains on.
We expect the line to remain closed for the rest of the day with all trains on the route being replaced by road transport where possible.

Due to flooding caused by severe weather, our Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth services may be cancelled throughout the day.
Customers are advised to travel on the next available service.
