Due to a broken down train between Pontypridd (PPD) and Radyr (RDR):
Services will be delayed by up to 40 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Pontypridd (PPD) and Radyr (RDR).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 15:56 until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
A train has broken down between Pontypridd and Radyr meaning services in the area are subject to disruption and may be cancelled,delayed or revised.
Our maintenance team are currently in contact with train crew working to rectify the problem.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from our maintenance team.

We have road transport running between Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Treherbert and Pontypridd to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost.
Services will depart at the following times: 18:00 from Pontypridd to Treherbert. 18:30 from Pontypridd to Merthyr Tydfil and 18:45 from Pontypridd to Aberdare
There will also be a rail replacement bus shuttling between Pontypridd and Radyr
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
