Due to urgent repairs to the track between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM):
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM).
We expect the incident to last until 22:00 and disruption to services is expected from 17:00 until 23:00.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a buckled rail at Gloucester.
For safety, train services will not be able to run between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa until the track can be repaired.
Our colleagues at Network Rail/Amey Infrastructure are aware of the problem and technicians are currently en route to the affected area.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

For safety, train services will be running more slowly than normal through the area, with residual delays of around 15 minutes to be expected.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and Technicians are currently en route to the affected area.
