Following a problem with the overhead electric wires at Manchester Piccadilly yesterday, services in the area are subject to disruption and maybe cancelled, delayed or revised.
Services between Wilmslow and Manchester are now returning to normal.
- The first service from Wilmslow will be the 09:50 to Manchester Piccadilly
- The first service from Manchester Piccadilly will be the 10:30 to Cardiff Central
Please continue to travel as planned, but expect potential delays and cancellations on your journey.

There are buses provided by Keanes Coaches and Mario's waiting at Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly in case of any further disruption.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
