Due to a broken down train at Neath (NTH):
Services may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Carmarthen (CMN).
We expect the incident to last until 11:30 and disruption to services is expected from 09:45 until 13:30.
What's Happened?
A train has broken down at Neath meaning services between Cardiff Central and Carmarthen are subject to disruption and may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Our maintenance team are currently in contact with train crew working to rectify the problem.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from our maintenance team.

Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to remain on site at Swansea and Carmarthen to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at approximately 11:00 and are provided by Francis mini travel, Cymru Coaches, Gower mini travel, Davies Coaches, and Teulu Travel.
These arrangements are in place on services until 15:00.
We have also organised buses to cover the following journeys:
10:45 Carmarthen to Milford Haven
11:53 Milford Haven to Carmarthen
11:15 Briton Ferry to Swansea
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

We expect the incident to last until 08:52 and disruption to services is expected until 08:52.
Due to a shortage of on-train staff, the following services between Machynlleth and Pwllheli have been cancelled:
- 06:43 Machynlleth - Pwllheli
- 09:34 Pwllheli - Machynlleth
Our services between Machynlleth and Pwllheli are disrupted in both directions.
We expect the incident to be cleared by 08:52. Train services will be disrupted until 08:52.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Machynlleth and Pwllheli to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at:
- Machynlleth at approximately 06:43 provided by Lloyds, calling all stops to Pwllheli.
- Pwllheli at approximately 09:34 provided by Lloyds, calling all stops to Machynlleth.
These arrangements are in place on services until 12:00.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
