Services may be cancelled in both directions between Crewe (CRE) and Wrexham General (WRX).

We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.

What's Happened?

Due to the hot weather forecast, services between Crewe and Wrexham General will be reduced in both directions.

Alternative Travel Options

Customers are advised to travel on the next available service.

Customers travelling from Wrexham General to Crewe are advised to board the next service to Chester, where they can make a connection to Crewe.

Customers travelling from Crewe to Wrexham General are advised to board the next available service to Chester, where they can make a connection to Wrexham General.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Avanti West Coast services between Chester and Crewe in both directions until the end of the day.

We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 06:00 until the end of the day.

Due to a shortage of trains, there will be a reduced TfW service between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa.
